This project aimed to address the challenges of an e-commerce site offering customized t-shirts and apparel that was struggling to generate sales. The goal was to identify the reasons for this lack of success and implement solutions to boost sales by improving the user experience and the commercial effectiveness of the site.

Project

Allyoucanshirt is an online store for customizable t-shirts based on limited drops and creative collaborations. The concept is born from the intersection of graphic design, irony, and pop culture, with a strong focus on sustainability and small-batch production.

Problem Statement

The challenge was to design a digital store that felt unique and engaging, while also being easy to manage for frequent content and product updates. Unlike traditional online shops, this one needed to balance a playful identity with functional usability and strong conversion potential.

Research

Initial exploration included a benchmark of niche fashion brands, DTC platforms, and limited-edition e-commerce experiences. User interviews highlighted the importance of:

  • A mobile-first layout with fast navigation;

  • Clear storytelling for each drop or artist;

  • Simple, intuitive customization and checkout process.

The visual language was inspired by meme culture and editorial layouts, while keeping the back-office operations accessible for non-technical users.

Solution

The final platform included:

  • A WooCommerce-based system integrated with custom filtering by collection and theme;

  • Dynamic banners and landing pages to support campaigns and launches;

  • Fully responsive design optimized for mobile and social sharing;

  • Lightweight backend structure for easy updates.

The tone of voice and visuals were intentionally informal, to match the brand’s irreverent attitude, while maintaining a clear purchase flow and user-friendly product navigation.

  • Time-to-launch: Fully functional shop built in 2.5 weeks;

  • +120 orders in the first month, driven by organic reach and Instagram promotions;

  • 100% mobile usability, with 75% of traffic from smartphones;

  • Seamless drop management via WordPress, with custom templates ready for reuse;

  • High engagement on product pages thanks to a mix of microcopy and visuals.
